Faith

I have had alot of sadness in my heart lately. Sad because I firmly believe in something so big that I wish that this whole world could feel how I feel inside. Unfortunatly there is nothing I can do to change people. However the best thing I can do is, be the best that I can be by sharing those precious experiences in my life to those around me.
The other day while I was at work there was a lady who said she wanted to go to church with us because she could feel something special about us people. (meaning mormon's) We have a handful who I work with that are LDS. There really is something special about us. We are happy because we know that life is eternal and we have the eternities be with our family. It reminds when we go to the temple with the mirrors that you look in that go on forever and ever. Now, I know that this means living life to the very best of our abilities by following God's commandments. This is the hardest thing in life to do. Everyday we are tempted to do things that are wrong. Thankfully we have the power to repent.
Today Shandeigh and I worked on her personal progress and it was about having faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We read some scriptures that absolutly beautiful. In Alma 32 it talks about how faith is like a little seed and if we nourish it it will grow. It is the very exact same thing on having faith in God. If we choose to just not nourish our faith it will die. So sad to me to think of all these people who have had experiences in their life where God helped them out and then they tend to forget and loose faith in him. In Hebrews 11:3 it says, Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. How true it is. We need to remember just because we have not seen God does not mean that he is not with us at all time. The Lord has truly blessed our family time and time again. I know that because we are trying and not losing our faith in him that he is directing us in the right path. I pray everyday for our world. It is such a scary place that we live in today and I am so thankful to have the Lord right by my side in all my times of need.
