Spring Break

This week has been spring break for the kids and they have been having lots and lots of fun. Talia and her kids got to come and see us for a few days. She had to go back on wednesday to be back to work. With alot of begging her kids got to stay with us for the rest of spring break. My Mom and Dad are coming this weekend to help us finish up putting in the sprinkler system in are back yard. So the kids will be riding back with Grandma and Grandpa!
We got to go see Eric fly away in the Apache and the kids thought it was AWESOME!!! Ok so did Talia and I! I have a video of him driving away, not taking off, because I did not know they go to the end of the run way and with the sun we could not see to tape him taking off. So the post is just him driving on the runway. Someday I will get one of him taking off. (ok so I cannot get it to load, so I am going to try uploading in a new post)

Finally..Quinn's Birthday

So we finally got to celebrate Quinn's birthday after him being sick for almost two weeks. Poor kid! It was all worth it in the end




We were singing to him in this picture and he thought it was funny.

I was sitting by him watching him eat his cake and he decided he wanted to share his cake. We were in cake heaven together..lol

Tape boys

Ok so my boys are to funny. They found the tape and put tape on there mouth. I remember as a kid doing this all the time. Too cute! How do you like Paden's boots with his pajamas? Do not ask me why he has those on. Oh yeah and it looks like Paden had to go to the bathroom also....sorry about that on the picture! lol!

Holy Cow!

Ok so I have been so busy and crazy lately that I have not been able to update. On the 5th it was Quinn's first birthday and we have not even got to be able to celebrate it yet. On that day Eric worked from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. So we just thought that we would celebrate it on the weekend. Well on friday night when we were going to celebrate, Quinn came down with the flu. We will hopefully celebrate it on Monday and I will update you with some cute pictures. So I am at home from church with Quinn, who is napping, and I am hoping his fever breaks during this nap, and all the kids and Eric are at church. So here I have a spare moment now to write.

Last week Eric and I have been working on Shandeigh's painting room project and we are almost done. All we lack is putting a teal blue trim up around her room. Eric did most of it and did a REALLY GOOD job! The picture does not even look near as good in person. We are going to be painting Jonathan's room next. Then we will paint the downstairs living room.

Shandeigh and I got to go to Ashley's dance competition in Boise on Friday. She has been looking forward to this for about two weeks now. She really loves her cousin Ashley and I really think she would like to be a dancer just like her. Ashely did really good on her competition. They place third and second in there dances they did. Now I just need to find a really good dance place here in Boise that Shandeigh could go to. After the competition we went to Red Robin and she got a banana milkshake. She thought that was the greatest. She told me that it was the best day ever. I am really glad that just me and her got to have a Mommy daughter day. We also got to see my brother, who I have not seen in about a year. I hope he knows that we love him no matter what.

The boys have just been keeping busy playing and have been going outside the last few days. It has been trying to warm up here in Boise and they are really loving that. I took some pictures of some fun and cute things they have done but for some reason it wont load them. So tomorrow I will post and see if it works. Well other then that not much else new has been happening.

Glasses boy

Ok so I have known that my little Paden has needed to get glasses for a couple of weeks now. We finally got them yesterday and had to wait to take a picture and share. He has a lazy eye like I have and we are hoping that glasses will correct it before it gets to bad. Pray that it will and he will not have to have any surgerys or patches on the eye like I had to when I was in first grade. Ok so here is the cute pictures. He sure is handsome and looks all grown up. =(

For the love of diabetes

So today it was site change for Shandeigh. Oh how she loves these! Ok not really she hates these days. Well today out of all days was the worse. We gave her site change first thing this morning. When I put it in it unstuck and I had to repoke her. WEll low and behold at about 11:00 she was over 500. Well I knew that her site was not working so we took it out because it was not absorbing. So took it out and low and behold it was kinked. So she is on her third poke for the day. EWWW how I hate this. Hate because 10.oo down the drain for one of those. Yeah 10.00!!! OH yeah and Shandeigh gets a new site again. So a couple hours later we test again and over 500 again. ERRR!!! Yeah took it out again because she should have come down at least somewhat. Well guess what kinked again!!! So yeah here is another poke and 20.00 down the drain. So we wait a couple hours later and she is still over five hundred. By this time I am so ticked at her sets I could call the company and chew them out, but I remain somewhat calm and give her another one. So yeah fourth poke. POOR SHANDEIGH!!! Finally at flippin 5:30 she goes down to 178, yeah!! Poor Shandeigh and her stupid diabetes. Sometimes its just not fair for her to have to go through this. She is so good with it though. I think sometimes I take it harder then she does.
