Mom and daughter night

Shandeigh and I had a mother, daughter party tonight for acheivement days and we had a really great time.
We had a menu thing we had to choose from with all the silly words that absolutley made no sense and we wrote down what utensil we got and how are meal was served to us. Shandeigh and I got a big pot spoon to eat with. We were served our dessert first our main course, then our salad. It was ALOT of fun. I love to be able to have special days with Shandeigh like this.
Me eating with my spoon. YUMMY!!
We then got to wash our hands with a sugar scrub they made. This is Shandeigh's very soft hands and arms.
Can't forget the finger nail painting!
and the toe nail painting.
Shandeigh's pretty fingers!
and my pretty fingers. She did a pretty good job.

Thanks Shandeigh for going with Mom! I love ya girl!

We went to the Zoo

Quinn loves any animal. He gets this high pitch squeal of excitement every time he sees any animal.

We went to the zoo a couple of days ago here in Boise with some friends. This is the prarie tunnel. From front to back is Shandeigh, Morgan, Jonathan, Jackson, and Paden.
Shandeigh, Paden, and Jonathan on the tiger. Paden was scared, if you could not tell, he did not want to get on that tiger.

This was right after we started on our way home. Got to love these days. Jonathan and Paden fast asleep on each other.
Here is Quinn fast asleep also. Love it Love it!!
And then Shandeigh who NEVER EVER gets tired during the day! She has to much going on in that smart little brain to be wasting it on sleep.

Quinn's first haircut

This is before I cut his hair. This one lady at church said "she" looked so cute. Yeah I know I watied a little long..lol
During the haircut. It would have been nice to have Eric there to hold his head, but we managed.
The after picture! Doesn't he look like a little boy now? Makes me sad, they grow up to fast.
Quinn loves to sweep and thought he would help out cleaning up his hair.

Quinn and the hat

Quinn was taking Eric's hat off and putting it on his head and running. He thought he was pretty hot stuff! He is such a cute kid!

Tumbling Tower

So the kids thought this was a pretty fun game the other day, taking all the pillows off the couch and getting on top to see if they could balance. They were all laughing so hard and I was laughing probably harder watching them even try to get up to the top. It was really cute!

My "Butt" and my birthday

I just had to post this picture of Eric's butt! He does not even know I took it but I just could not resist. Why you ask? Eric is always taking pictures of my butt and I dont even know. I got to download pictures on my computer and all the pictures of my lovely butt come up. He thinks its really funny so I thought hey why not post this picture on my blog of my "BUTT" that I love so much!! I love you Eric!

So yesterday was my birthday and Eric had to fly late the night before and did not get home until about 1:30 in the morning. When I woke up in the morning I found these pretty flower and gifts on my dresser! He is so good to me and is always makes my birthday really special. My wonderful friend (thank you Chandra) watched my boys until Eric got of work and I took Shandeigh with me and we shopped until we dropped. We left at 12:30 and did not get home until 9:30. We had lots of fun! Thanks for the great birthday Eric! I love you!

Fourth of July Week

We got to spend the week with Grandma and Grandpa. The kids had a ball and did not want to come home. We ventured are way up to Jackson, Wyoming and went to the Bar J. Everything was great until Quinn started acting up after dinner. He likes his sleep and does not do well when he is tired. The kids loved it though and as usual the singers are great!

On the fourth my Dad got up at six in the morning and got us a great spot for the parade and the fireworks. He set up the picnic table at almost the beginning of the parade, so the kids got TONS of candy. They could have not been more excited about that. After the parade we got some lunch and headed over to the greenbelt for the festivities that were going on there. The kids each got a toy and some ice cream from Grandma and Grandpa. We then headed to are spot and hung out at the greenbelt ALL day until the fireworks started. I dont know why we do such things to ourselves. Ok so it was my idea and I take all the blame. Why we were there though I got this brilliant idea to go to the dollar store and buy glow sticks for the kids to sell. I paid 15.00 for them and the kids ended up making 100.00! Shandeigh was such a cutie and kept yelling, get your glowsticks 1.00. Jonathan held a sign up we made and Paden held some glow sticks. It was pretty cute! I was proud of there hard work, they kept saying there feet hurt, but they really wanted to do it and they did. They really want a WII and this money will go towards it. I was really proud of them and Eric doubted me and thought we could not do it. After all that the fireworks kicked off and were beautiful as always. I am so thankful for this free country that I live in. I am especially thankful for the men and women serving for our freedom! I am also thankful for the families that are often not talked about why there loved one is serving away from them. I think of all the bad things that we here about everything and how often the good things get forgotten. There really is alot of good things going on in the other countries that we do not even know about.

Ok anyway so the day after the fourth we took the kids fishing to a pond. They thought it was really fun and even my little Quinn was eager to take the fishing pole and fish. Grandpa held the pole and he immediatly started spinning the reel. It was really funny. He is definantly a strong willed little boy. He know how to get his way already and does not even know how to talk yet. He knows how to express his feeling very well though. Lol! Shandeigh, Jonathan, and Paden caught on real quick and really had a fun time. Well that was are week in a nutshell and we had lots of fun.
