Life really stinks sometimes!

Ok so the saying goes...When it rains it pours. I have been trying so hard to have some great New Years goals and one of those goals it to be more positive. Seriously though this really sucks. I have been trying so hard but everything seem to keep going farther and farther down hill. With my hubby being out of work for almost four months, I have been in such a depression and I cannot seem to get out of it. This is just a little of what has happened lately. Tricare, which is who we had insurance with before Eric got put out of work has been trying to stick us with a big huge bill saying we never had insurance (surprise surprise). Shandieghs testing supplies for her diabetes got decreased because medicaid will only allow so many a month. This means we have to pay for extra test strips pretty soon which is almost 100.00 a box. We just got a nice fatty dentist bill. We got denied for food stamps. We had to get on some medical insurance so now we have to add another 200.00 extra a month to all our other bills. Eric has only had two interviews for jobs for which he did not get and has applied for several. Today Padens leapster got stolen from the WIC office because Quinn set it down and we forgot to grab it, so someone nicely took it. I am still hoping they will feel guilty and turn it in. I also lost Quinn's one shoe today so now I have to go get him more shoes. So basically what I am saying is I really hate how money has to have so much control in my life. I am such a grump. I am not writing this for everyone to feel sorry for me, rather just to vent out my feelings. Good things have happened. I just wonder when things will get better. I know with time it will, but it really STINKS right now.

Humanitarian Bowl

Being in the military has perks sometimes. We were able to take advantage of free tickets to the humanitarian bowl. We got to see the band and Quinn had a great time dancing to the music. We took the kids and we were all so freezing. Nevada was getting toasted so we left at half time. Fun was had by all.

I know it has been a whole month since posting on my blog. I am a slacker. So here is a few pictures of the kids opening presents. We had a great Christmas and we are glad that we stayed home for Christmas this year. We had a ton of snow and the roads were super bad.

Paden got a leapster and loves it. He is addicted to it.

Quinn loves any musical insturment. He was so excited to get a guitar for Christmas. He was saying WOW!!
Shandiegh got heelys and does not go anywhere without them. She said it was the best Christmas present she ever got.
Jonathan got a transformer. He can't decide what his favorite was. He liked everything he got.

Thankful!

I know Thanksgiving has passed a bit ago. I just wanted to tell you all for what I am thankful for during this holiday season

*I am so blessed to have the Savior Jesus Christ in my life. I truly do not know how I could ever live without it. I lean on him for so many things. I am so thankful that we have Christmas to reflect on the birth of the Savior.

*I am thankful for a wonderful husband who puts up with me all the time. I am not an easy person to live with and he has been so good to me through everything.

*I am thankful for my four beautiful children. They teach me new things daily. They are so loving and forgiving toward me. They are such big helpers all the time.

*I am thankful for all that I have been blessed with. I can honestly say that we have been threw so many hard times and are going through it again, but somehow we are still truly blessed. I feel like when you are trying your hardest to do your best, you are so watched over.

*I am thankful for such a wonderful family and great friends.

*I am thankful for a great ward that I am in and all the people that have kindly done so many things for are family.

This is just a few things I am thankful for. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and pondered a little bit on what they were thankful for this time of year.
